Not Exactly Shakespeare by Martin Freznell – Reviewed by Guy Portman
Not Exactly Shakespeare purports to be the shortest book you’ll ever be forced to pretend to have to read. Well, the book is certainly short, pamphlet short in fact, but I did read it and of my own volition too. The scant content consists of the author imparting his ‘wisdom’ in a relatively amusing and borderline insane fashion. Topics include such diverse subjects as teachers, sex, drugs, kids and eating out of cans with their lids as opposed to spoons.
There is not much to like or loath about this meagre and mildly comical offering. On the plus side I have now, thanks to Martin Freznell, got back on track with my annual Goodreads challenge. Bring on the tomes.
